Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Brooklyn Brew Cafe at (347) 578-7239; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Brooklyn follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

So excellent! Owners are incredibly friendly and personable, all food and drink incredible, indoor and outdoor seating, available outlets, clean and cute atmosphere, the list goes on. Can’t believe I’ve lived in Bag Ridge for 4 years and never came here until now.

Brooklyn Brew Café is a hidden gem in Bay Ridge and exactly the kind of local business our community should support. I ordered the 79th Street Avocado Toast and a Wild Raspberry Hibiscus Iced Tea, and both were excellent. The toast was fresh, beautifully presented, and the flavors worked perfectly together. The iced tea was incredibly refreshing. What really stood out was the hospitality. The owner was welcoming, genuinely engaged, and happy to customize drinks to your liking. The café itself is cozy, inviting, and has a great variety of food and beverage options. If you're looking for a neighborhood café with great food, refreshing drinks, and exceptional service, Brooklyn Brew Café is definitely worth a visit. I'll be back!

A wonderful cozy spot for great coffee, amazing homemade soups, and delicious nibbles! Marina, the owner, is always behind the counter, and she’s genuinely warm and welcoming. It’s so nice to feel recognized when we walk in the door! This is hands down our favorite coffee place in Brooklyn.

I stopped by Brooklyn Brew Cafe for the first time while accompanying a friend’s daughter who was meeting her mother there. I had no intention of staying—my plan was simply to walk her in and leave—but she insisted I try one of their cookies and sit for a moment. Unfortunately, that brief visit was more than enough to confirm that this is a place I would not willingly return to. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. Instead of a basic greeting or even neutral acknowledgment, the woman behind the counter looked me up and down with a visible scowl, as though my presence was somehow offensive. First impressions matter in hospitality, and this one could not have been worse. A coffee shop should feel warm and inviting; this one felt the opposite. The environment itself did little to redeem the experience. The overall vibe was dull and unappealing, lacking the comfort and energy that usually make neighborhood cafés enjoyable places to spend time. Rather than feeling like a community space, it felt tense and awkward. Service and atmosphere are the bare minimum for any café. When both are lacking, it raises serious questions about how the business expects to reta

This cute place has truly made my week! From the dope owner and staff, to the delicious drinks and food menu, I have enjoyed every part of my experience! The soup is AMAZING! Whatever she puts in the tomatoes, is out of this world!!!! I had the pleasure of talking with some ppl local to the neighborhood which was an added bonus. I don’t live nearby, but I will try to visit again !

This place is hands down one of the best overall experiences I’ve encountered in a very long while. If you ever have the pleasure of talking with Marina, you’d be so lucky! The tomato soup, pesto grilled cheese and amazing balsamic side salad, was literally like Ratatouille for me. Everything’s great on its own, but it’s like sex in your mouth when combined all together ! Excuse my French lol. I’m randomly in this area for work, so I doubt I’ll ever have the pleasure of coming back! But they are definitely worth the hype and cost 😇 Oh and everything is farm to table+ organic ! Like cmonnn

I like this coffee shop. The barista gave me better and more professional advice on the coffee I wanted to drink. Chocolate chip cookies are very crispy and the taste is my favorite one. I look forward to having other flavors of coffee and toast next time.

My new favorite cafe. Great coffee and food and a place where people take pride in their business which I feel is rare these days. I got a cookie butter latte and the avocado toast which is to die for and the best I’ve had anywhere. The flavor combination is light and savory creating the perfect flavor with a perfect portion size. A dish Gordon Ramsey would be proud of!!! Friendly people and an alive great atmosphere that take you back to the good ol’ days. If you’re in town this place is a must!
